Storyline – Polished Pieces and Rapid Prototypes

Effective instructional design often comes down to being ready when students and faculty need support. The most useful learning objects are timely, practical, and aligned with the moment of need rather than polished to perfection. Striving for flawless products can slow progress, while faculty enthusiasm and the ability to provide a quick, well-focused intervention usually have a stronger impact on learning. Prioritizing responsiveness over exhaustive production ensures that learning objects truly serve the people who rely on them.

Personality Disorder Television

Another rapid Storyline project during the pandemic. Many nurses
have to memorize features of personality disorders. These sample
videos allow students to switch between short conversations where
they can compare features. No access to a video studio? No problem.
Students loved this project and still use it.

See The Whole Person

High production value? Maybe not.
High impact? Absolutely.

Movement Disorders

Storyline augments a short slide deck by adding drag-and-drop
interactives with motion gifs. Students better identify certain
characteristics in movement disorders.
